- Gregory F. Osler

Founder
Greg Osler has built Mercury Communication Services with a hands-on philosophy since 1980. It has been his personal involvement that has made the difference and helped his company to not only survive when others did not, but also thrive.
Greg's beginnings were in Detroit, Michigan where he and his four brothers kept their parents very busy! With some sales experience under his belt, Greg left his roots to move to Dallas in 1975. This is where he began his long-term relationship with telecommunications. He began working for ITT, a major telecommunications company, as a sales representative. In 1978 he was promoted to a branch manager in Houston. In 1979, ITT was sold. Greg moved back to Dallas and opened Mercury Communication Services, Inc. in February of 1980.
The original mission for MCS was to exemplify customer service after the sale and that directive is still in place. Greg, being an exceptional salesman himself, knows its one thing to get the customer; it's another to be able to keep them. Repeat business, customer education, and an open door policy have all helped keep Mercury one of NEC's top dealers in the country.
Another of Greg's practices has been doing due diligence prior to selecting the manufacturers Mercury represents. This too, has proven to be a smart move for Osler. Mercury became an authorized dealer for NEC in 1980. This long-term relationship has been very successful for both companies. Mercury's employees know the systems inside and out, they have the benefit of NEC's corporate office being in Irving and they have perfected the install, service and maintenance of NEC systems. Mercury is also an authorized dealer for AVST voice processing since 1986. This platform has also won Mercury many rewards such as Platinum Dealership status. CBeyond and Mitel/Inter-tel have also been proven partners in Mercury's success.
Greg's ability to make smart, long-term decisions while keeping up with new technology have faired Mercury and its' customers well.

- Ron Aievoli
Director of Sales and Marketing
Ron, a 27-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, manages Mercury's sales staff and marketing efforts. His team includes new system sales personnel, after-market service consultants and business development representatives. He works with our manufacturer partners to ensure our sales staff is fully trained and sales certified on the equipment we sell. This also allows us to provide consultative services to our existing and prospective clients. His experience is instrumental in developing our corporate messages, internal training material, and proposal tools.
Most recently, Ron served as Director of Sales-Enterprise Accounts and Director Business Development for a national telecommunications integrator. In those capacities Ron built a national sales team focused on selling NEC and Mitel enterprise solutions in vertical markets such as government, higher education, healthcare, and hospitality.
Prior to that, Ron worked for NEC Unified Solutions as Sales Director-Central Region where he managed a team of account managers and sales engineers covering 14 states and supporting over 85 NEC distributors. A perennial NEC President's Club winner, Ron was one of the most recognized sales executives securing multi-million dollar distribution agreements with national integrators and national sales agreements with customers including Hilton Hotels Corp.
Ron is sales certified on the Mitel 3300ICP and virtually all of NEC products and applications. He is recognized as a NEC VMP (Vertical Market Specialist) for healthcare, higher education, hospitality, and government.
At Mercury, we understand the importance of providing professional, conscientious, and certified sales personnel and under Ron's leadership Mercury will continue to focus on our commitments to our customers.

- Brian Gates
Project & Sales Engineering Manager
The key to any successful installation starts way before the day the equipment arrives at your office. In fact, it begins before the Account Executive brings you the contract to sign or even before the Mercury representative walks through your door for the first time. It starts with the expertise and experience Brian Gates brings to Mercury and the standards he demands from the marketing team. As Mercury's Project & Sales Engineering Manager, he is involved very often, from the initial sales process through the smooth installation completion.
Brian has almost 20 years of experience in providing business communications solutions. A "True Texan", he was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. After attending Stephen F. Austin University, he quickly developed his business skills by running his own construction company for several years. In 1991, Brian moved into the telephone industry and became the Operations Manager for Dependable Telecom. During his seven year tenure, he developed his strong understanding of the multi-faceted communications process. This included the importance of equipment knowledge and thus credible selling; the organized and well planned installation and finally the reliable ongoing service. "All parts are crucial", Brian insists. His knowledge includes experience with manufacturers such as: Avia, Comdial, ITT/Cortelco, Inter-Tel, Mitel, NEC, Nortel, Panasonic, and Toshiba to name a few.
In early 2006, the Mercury Leadership Team and Brian both saw a perfect match and great opportunity for Brian to join the established company. Mercury quickly saw what a strong impact Brian's experience brings to the table. Mercury's vast existing base as well as new and potential customers all enjoy Brian Gates and what he adds to the Mercury commitments!

- Kim Maner

Kim Maner understands all of Mercury's workings from the inside out! She was hired in June of 1998 as a Customer Service Representative / Trainer. In charge of training customers' employees, she quickly became familiar with all the products and features, and how clients could most benefit from their systems. Kim has often been praised for pointing out new user-friendly options that the customer did not even know they had.
Prior to coming on board at Mercury, Kim was actually a Mercury customer. She was the system administrator for a large NEC PBX, AVT voice mail system and supervised a 100-person call center. This experience proved to be valuable as she consistently learned more and impressed Mercury's new and existing customers, as well as management.
In two short years, (September of 2000), Kim was promoted to the Installation Manager. This job was a great opportunity for her to use all of the knowledge she had learned as the Customer Service Representative / Trainer, which included meeting with customers to design their system, conducting coordination meetings with technicians on each job, preparing and conducting training classes as well as extensive follow-up. She now would be able to use all her organizational skills to manage the entire process from ordering equipment to an efficient and timely install. As is Kim's nature, she excelled at this job and was the perfect candidate to join the Operations Department Management Team in March of 2005. Kim offers a motivational and supportive management style while expecting only the very best from her technical staff.
